Brand claims:

  • No drying time, no mess
  • Superior, lasting shine
  • Easy removal
  • Lasts up to a week
My opinion:
I loved the packaging. There were 24 nails (in 12 sizes) packed in cute little nail polish sort of container, which I found very creative and attractive. It also has a cleansing pad to get prepare your nails for application. Even despite these are fake nails, there is no glue. Yes, there is NO glue needed. You just simply need to peel of the plastic sheet from the back of the nail, place and press on your nail and off you go. Isn't it such a easy application? I found it's much much better then I have imagined. Dont believe me? then click on below link.

Ahaaa. Now you impressed! :) here is the road test image (if still unsure):

Ok about the lasting power I noticed that animal print on the nails started coming off on the 6th day in my case. It wasn't very noticeable though. Don't forget as I belongs to nail biting community it's bit tough in my case for nails to survive. :) Removal was also quick and easy and but I got minor scratches on my two nails.

Overall, I am very impressed by how good it looked for 5 days! I would recommend trying this and get myself probably in design of Australian flag (Yes I am patriot), TGIF and Dancing queen.

Don't forget there are 13 designs to choose from! Which design will you choose?

Biore Steam activated cleanser Review

Price: $9.39

What is it: Facial cleanser

Shop it from: Priceline

Brand Claims: The invigorating steam-activated cleanser is clinically proven to lift away dirt, oil and makeup, and leaves skin feeling fresh, clean and vibrant. With an infusion of Green Tea leaf extract known for its powerful antioxidant protection and detoxifying benefits; the luxurious lather whisks away dirt and impurities. Soap-free, sulfate-free, Paraben-free and non-pore clogging, the formula delivers a deep clean you can truly feel.

My Opinion: This a fairly amazing product. I love it because i’m always on the go and using a steam activated cleaner (use it in the shower) is really saves a good bit of time for me! I also love love LOVE the scent. In fact, I loved it so much..

I have dry skin and I tend to wear makeup (a cream foundation and mascara) on a daily basis. good thing is, this product deep cleans and leaves me feel UBER refreshed.Takes off my makeup(except Mascara). I also love the cool feeling that my face has when I wash the cleanser off. But the bad thing is, after a while my skin felt little dry and had to use mosturizer (which I do anyways so not a big issue).

I would say it would make great product for oily-combo skin as it willl most likely dry out dry skin if been used daily or twice a day!

I will surely recommend this product and use it as make-up cleanser myself. ;)

What will you do?

      My Opinion:
At first, I wasn't too sure if I should buy this or the expensive/beloved styler such as GHD, then I thought let's give it a go with Remington as there is nothing to lose because of it's reasonably prised then GHD.

It's been a while since I am using this product. I must say I am presently surprised by it functions. My hair is fairly thin and is naturally a little on the wavy side. Before I used this product, it was very time consuming for me to do my hairs to actually stay straight for more than a few hours. I needed to have it straightened at expensive salons or delicate my few hours at home(with my sister's help). However after using this I have found there are no such hassles anymore. It does my hair perfectly and my hair stays straight with not much frizz for the entire day. It also leaves my hair feeling silky, soft and smooth, which looks so lovely. Indeed I can say it gives me close to a salon finish at home in very reasonable time.

Another bonus point with this styler is, it heats up as a matter of speed of light when turned on and when I turn it off, it cools down in same manner which I admire!

The styler comes with a handy little heatproof pouch, which is pretty cute and trendy. Plus the cord has an excellent length, long enough so I don’t feel like I am stucked on wall. ;))

By now, you will be able to judge yourself that this product does work very well. What say?

      Avène Gentle Gel Cleanser Review

      RRP: 30.95

What is it: Soap free gentle cleanser and make-up remover

Shop it from: your local pharmacy.

      Brand Claims:
      • Gently cleanses the skin of impurities and make-up
      • Soap free, light foaming
      • Easy to use, rinse off formula
      • Versatile use: can also be used under the shower
      • Hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic
      My opinion:
I recently came across Avene skincare range. Do you know their products are made with Thermal Spring water... sounds so pure me. .!! I thought to try their products, and guess what?!? Avene Facebook sent me lots of different products samples to try before I buy full size products... :) How generous of them! :)

As soon as I opened the cap of the tiny cute bottle, I hit by very strong fragrance which was heavenly good! I have very sensitive skin (specially around my eyes) and always have problem with fragrant products but surprisingly enough, it works for me AND it doesn't break me out :)

The gel cleanser is super gentle, doesn't irritate or burn my skin, somehow it feels like water with a touch of hydrating ingredients (love it), plus it leaves skin with a nice radiant glow. I cannot stop touching my cheeks after every wash. hehe.

I also use this on face make up and although its gentle it works very well with face make-up. However If you tend to wear heavy make up (specially waterproof eye make-up), it might require few applications as i have fair bit of trouble taking my eye-liner and mascara off!

Overall. I wouldn't say it's the best cleanser I tried as yet but it's pretty good product and therefore giving 4 in a place of 5 (only because it is not good for removing heavy and waterproof make-up)

Hope this review helps! Feel free to leave comments below.

Avène Cold Cream Hand Cream Review

      RRP: $20.95.

What is it: A non-greasy, nourishing and hydrating cream.

Shop it from: Your local Pharmacy.

      Brand Claims:
      • Moisturises, protects and nourishes dry, cracked skin
      • Non-greasy formulation
      • Suitable for all skin types
      • Long lasting water resistant formulation
      • Hypoallergenic
      My Opinon:

This is the first "cold" cream I have ever used (It's became kind a hard to find ones such as this that do not test on animals).

I have only been using this product for few days now and so far very impressed or rather say
I LOVE IT. My skin particularly my arms and legs are so dry & itchy and it has never been as bad as it has this winter. :( I have tried several heavy duty moisturisers and oils with little improvement what so ever. After using Avene Cold Cream, my skin is feeling so much better already. I like that although it is very creamy it absorbs very quickly and doesn't leave an oily residue on the skin. Also it has little fragrance which is another bonus for me as I'm steering clear of highly fragranced products that render my skin even more sensitive. I received a tiny sample packs from Avene to try before I buy and after seeing such nourishing result on my skin so far I would definitely purchase the fullsize product.

What do you say? Feel free to leave comments below.

U Little Beauty Nourishing Hand Cream Review

      Price: 9.95

What is it: Nourishing hand cream with natural ingredients

Shop it from: Local David Jones, Priceline and Terry White Chemists.

      Brand Claims:

If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands… your hands will sing with joy as they soak up the natural goodness of kakadu plum, aloe vera, shea butter, macadamia and jojoba oil. The ideal combination to help protect, nourish and hydrate your hard working hands.

      My Opinion:

Wowww.. What a great little hand cream it is! Best thing about this product that it has a lovely fresh, botanical scent like the rest of the ULB range, and is also free of parabens which can be troublesome for some people (like me!). ;)

It is not too heavy and not too light, and provides a great level of moisturisation for any time of the year! It absorbs beautifully and keeps your hands supple and healthy looking throughout the day. I have also noticed (as with the ULB body lotion) that this hand cream also seems to even out your skintone and and neutralise any redness. It also doesn't 'ball-up' like when you apply it like some hand creams.

One of the most important things for any hand cream I use is that it doesn't exacerbate or create any new patches of dermatitis on my hands. I am very happy to say that this hand cream doesn't do either! I think this is largely due to the absence of parabens which don't agree with my skin.

Overall, this is a great daily hand cream which would be suitable for most people. It keeps you hands looking and feeling supple and healthy throughout the day - definitely a winner for me!

Shoot me with your all questions.
